Description
The Chamber believes leading our community means developing the next generation of leaders and our educators are the superheroes who do just that. Join us in showing our appreciation and support to these superheroes as they gear up for another year.
Join us from 5:00 pm - 6:30 p.m. on August 18 at City Club at Gibson Mill where we will host a night out designed especially for our local educators. The event includes vendor tables by chamber members, food, fun presentations and activities for all to enjoy. Educators from Cabarrus County Schools, Kannapolis City Schools, and to private and charter schools within Cabarrus County will be invited to attend.
Chamber member businesses can participate by sponsoring the event, becoming an exhibitor or donating door prizes. To become a table exhibitor, register online by Aug. 5 and review this additional information:
- Single tables are $250 and double tables are $400.
- We will provide you with a 6 ft. table(s) and black tablecloth (optional).
- We encourage exhibitors to make their space fun and entertaining, give away special offers that promote your business, give away teacher friendly swag, food and drink, treats, etc. We anticipate 150 teachers in attendance.
- See additional details here: Cabarrus.biz/exhibitors
The Chamber's COVID-19 Policy:
Exposure to COVID-19 is an inherent risk in any public location where people are present; we cannot guarantee you will not be exposed during your event. The CDC advises that older adults and people of any age who have serious underlying medical conditions might be at higher risk for severe illness from Coronavirus. Guests should evaluate their own risk in determining whether to attend. The Chamber recommends all consider getting COVID-19 vaccinations and all needed boosters for their best protection.
People who show no symptoms can spread Coronavirus if they are infected, and any interaction with the public poses an elevated risk of being exposed to Coronavirus. By coming to an event, you acknowledge and agree that you assume these inherent risks associated with attendance. Guests are asked not to attend if they are running a fever or have COVID-19 symptoms. We also ask that you not attend if you are awaiting test results or have not completed your five-day isolation period if tested positive and will wear a mask the five days following sickness. If anyone in their household has shown symptoms of or has tested positive for COVID-19, we ask that you wear a mask during our event. The Chamber adheres to all state and county mandates, so if there is a mask mandate, we will comply.
