Description
Held in partnership with Cabarrus County and Kannapolis City Schools, the Cabarrus County Career Connections Day is no ordinary career fair. It is an interactive hands-on day where students can explore potential careers and interact with local employers. High School juniors and seniors from both districts are invited to attend this exciting event that will help them see their future and prepare for it.
Important Information
- We will be holding a networking lunch after the event in the Gold Hall to connect businesses with Career Development Coordinators in each school district. C4 Day participants will receive 2 tickets per table in their booth. For example, Single Exhibitors will receive 2 tickets, and Double Exhibitors will receive 4. Anyone from your organization may attend the lunch regardless of their participation in C4 Day. Please reach out to Jess Fick at jfick@cabarrusncchamber.org to claim your tickets. Additional tickets can be purchased here.
- New this year, 7th graders are also invited to attend at a designated time. Businesses are welcome to tailor their display to this group and switch out personnel if needed. We will allow transition time between the high schoolers and 7th graders.
- Each registered exhibitor will be associated with one or more career pathways. These pathways are predetermined by Cabarrus County Schools and Kannapolis City Schools and cannot be modified. When registering, please select all of the pathways that you think your business fits in. We will not be grouping businesses by pathways, but your chosen pathway(s) will be indicated on your booth for the students. You can find the list of pathways here. List all that apply to your business.
