DESCRIPTION:Our community is richly blessed by the North Carolina Research Campus! But what all goes on there? Mark Spitzer\, Vice President of Operations for Castle and Cooke North Carolina\, will be updating us on the amazing research\, partnerships and innovation\, tell us what's on the horizon for this remarkable place and how all this affects Cabarrus County.\n\n\n\nThe North Carolina Research Campus is a scientific community of eight universities\, global companies\, entrepreneurs and the David H. Murdock Research Institute. Research and development is focused on producing safer\, more nutritious crops and healthier foods as well as clinical applications for precision nutrition. \n\n\n\nWhat's Up Cab Co is designed for quarterly after-hours networking and relevant business updates from the Chamber\, Cabarrus Economic Development Corp. and Cabarrus County. We will also host a keynote speaker who will provide information and updates on timely business topics that impact our community. Hors D'oeuvres and non-alcoholic drinks will be provided and cash bar will be available for other beverage choices.
