DESCRIPTION:As the Germans say\, "Das Beste f r den Schluss aufheben!" or "Save the best for last!" because Oct. 6 is the official last day of the Munich Oktoberfest and also Concord\, NC's Southern Strain Brewing Company's First Annual Oktoberfest Celebration! We'll be releasing our first Festbier Lager in the taproom along with commerative SSBC Oktoberfest Stein's that are good for $5 pours of any lager on tap all day long! Hot Box " Next Level Kitchen " will be set up in the taproom serving up a traditional German spread of brats with all the fixins \, fresh pretzels and apple strudel for your lager pairing pleasure! The SSBC taproom will be alive with the polka-centric musical stylings of the Route 161 Happy Wanderers Oktoberfest Band playing from 1pm-3:30pm followed by local Concord accordian legend Jerry Goodman traveling with his accordian from table to table from 4pm-7pm! So strap on your lederhosen\, gas up the volkswagon and get down to SSBC for this annual traditional German lager celebration! We'll see you Oct. 6.
