Community members graciously "adopt" many of the children in need by selecting names from the Christmas trees in area malls\, but unfortunately\, not every child is selected or some supplemental items are needed to ensure that every child has at least one complete outfit and a warm outer garment. For the past few years\, the Salvation Army Women's Auxiliary (SAWA) has held a new Clothes Drive to ensure there are enough clothes for the children and seniors in the Angel Tree program. This year\, SAWA will have boxes out in area businesses the last two weeks of October to collect new clothing. Members of the public can drop off clothing donations at businesses\, who have graciously agreed to host a box from October 16th through October 29th.
