SUMMARY:Educator's Night Out - Registration for Educators
DESCRIPTION:Registration for the 2022 event is now closed.\n\n\n\nAttention K-12 teachers from:\n\n Cabarrus County Schools\n Kannapolis City Schools\n Cabarrus County area Charter Schools\n Cabarrus County area Private Schools\n\nJoin us with your colleagues and friends as the members of The Chamber treat you to a fun night out before the school year kicks off. This event is completely free to attend and will include local business exhibitors\, food\, drinks and fun activities. You must register in advance to attend the event on August 18!\n\nIf you register after 11 a.m. on Aug. 15\, we will not have a pre-printed name tag for you\, but we still hope you will attend. If you register and then need to cancel\, please contact Alison Paladino at apaladino@cabarrus.biz\n\n\n\nThis event is adults only.\n\nWe are excited to announce that Neal Carter Music will be joining us to bring us some great music during the event. Neal Carter is a local musician who plays all over the Charlotte area\, as well as some gigs in Greensboro\, & Durham\, offering a foot-tapping southern style of classic acoustic rock and contemporary Americana from CCR to Tyler Childers.\n\n\n\nIn his real life\, Neal is local presbyterian minister who enjoys the interaction of playing tunes in the brewery community: music\, friends\, food\, and an excellent beverage. He's also a Chamber member\, with Rocky River Presbyterian Church!\n\n \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThe Chamber's COVID-19 Policy:\n\nExposure to COVID-19 is an inherent risk in any public location where people are present\; we cannot guarantee you will not be exposed during your event. The CDC advises that older adults and people of any age who have serious underlying medical conditions might be at higher risk for severe illness from Coronavirus. Guests should evaluate their own risk in determining whether to attend. The Chamber recommends all consider getting COVID-19 vaccinations and all needed boosters for their best protection.\n\n \n\nPeople who show no symptoms can spread Coronavirus if they are infected\, and any interaction with the public poses an elevated risk of being exposed to Coronavirus. By coming to an event\, you acknowledge and agree that you assume these inherent risks associated with attendance. Guests are asked not to attend if they are running a fever or have COVID-19 symptoms. We also ask that you not attend if you are awaiting test results or have not completed your five-day isolation period if tested positive and will wear a mask the five days following sickness. If anyone in their household has shown symptoms of or has tested positive for COVID-19\, we ask that you wear a mask during our event. The Chamber adheres to all state and county mandates\, so if there is a mask mandate\, we will comply.
