On December 3rd\, 2022\, we're offering a fast-track virtual Boot Camp for those interested in joining our Rowan/Cabarrus County Disaster Action Team. Red Cross Disaster Action Team volunteers are the first to roll up their sleeves\, grab their gear\, and respond year-round - to local disasters like home fires. Because of our volunteers\, impacted residents receive immediate assistance for food\, lodging\, clothing\, prescription replacement\, and long-term recovery support. If you are at least 18 years old\, compassionate\, an active listener\, and willing to be on-call to at least one week each month\, we will train you.
