DESCRIPTION:We are canceling our February 6  Advocacy Committee meeting due to our Annual Meeting on February 7. I hope each of you has bought your ticket and are planning to join us!  Brian Francis will be reviewing our advocacy work and public policy statement there.  \n\n \n\nAs we plan for our Short Session Legislative Agenda\, please send me any legislative items or concerns facing your business. We will meet again as a group on April 2\, 8:00 a.m. at the Chamber and review then. \n\n \n\nThe chamber's advocacy committee brings together members who are knowledgeable about and interested in business-related public policy and legislative issues. Join us as we shape our advocacy platform areas of economic development\, education and workforce\, energy and environment\, healthcare and transportation. Discussions may result in proposed actions that are presented to the executive committee and board of directors. Please RSVP to Barbi Jones at bjones@cabarrus.biz to attend the next meeting.
